Orange County man who ran fake law firm faces up to 20 years for fraud

An Orange County man on Tuesday was convicted a second time of federal mail and wire fraud charges, this time for his role in a scheme where he helped an ex-attorney scam thousands of struggling homeowners out of $9 million on the promise of lowering their interest rates, Department of Justice prosecutors said.
