Legal employment surges in California to 8-year high

Legal employment in California surged in June to the highest level since 2008, with almost 3,000 jobs added from the prior month.

Legal employment in California surged in June to the highest levels in eight years, with almost 3,000 jobs added from the prior month. The current level of 138,500 legal jobs in the state hasn't been matched since June 2008, according to figures from the state's Employment Development Department.
