Planned work stoppage could limit Santa Clara County court

Association of 350 court clerks, janitors and mediators want first raise in eight years.

A planned work stoppage is expected to severely limit the functions of Santa Clara County Superior Court Wednesday.

The Superior Court Professional Employees' Association, which includes approximately 350 court clerks, janitors and mediators, approved the strike by vote.
