'Star Trek' actor's parents file suit

Anton Yelchin's parents contend Fiat Chrysler should have caught the defect that killed him.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV's failure to correct a vehicle defect allegedly found in hundreds of thousands of its vehicles is responsible for the death of actor Anton Yelchin, according to a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the actor's parents in Los Angeles County superior court Tuesday.
