Attorney indicted on tax fraud

A federal grand jury in the Eastern District handed down the decision against Stephen J. Dougan, a solo personal injury lawyer, which details two charges of preparing false documents "and corruptly endeavoring to impede internal revenue law," according to the indictment.

A plaintiffs' attorney in Granite Bay was indicted late last week on three counts of tax fraud.

A federal grand jury in the Eastern District handed down the decision against Stephen J. Dougan, a solo personal injury lawyer, which details two charges of preparing false documents "and corruptly endeavoring to impede internal revenue law," according to the indictment.
