Most incumbent judges to run for re-election

The overwhelming majority of state court judges eligible for re-election on June 5 are seeking additional six-year terms, despite the courts' budget woes and growing caseloads.

The overwhelming majority of state court judges eligible for re-election on June 5 are seeking additional six-year terms, despite the courts' budget woes and growing caseloads.


Most will do so without challenge. However, the varied group of incoming challengers and candidates includes a 79-year-old attorney and a punk rock musician.
