Civil suit against convicted producer Spector settles

Imprisoned music producer Phil Spector, convicted of murdering an actress at his Alhambra mansion in 2003, has settled a wrongful-death lawsuit with the victim's mother on the ninth anniversary of the killing.

LOS ANGELES - Imprisoned music producer Phil Spector, convicted of murdering an actress at his Alhambra mansion in 2003, has settled a wrongful-death lawsuit with the victim's mother on the ninth anniversary of the killing.


The settlement was announced Friday in the Pasadena courtroom of Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Jan A. Pluim. The terms of the settlement are confidential.
