Attorney Drops Out of Race

Attorney Brett Maxfield has decided not to fight his disqualification from the June 8 ballot, which had pitted him against sitting Judge Harry Powazek.

SAN DIEGO - Attorney Brett Maxfield has decided not to fight his disqualification from the June 8 ballot, which had pitted him against sitting Judge Harry Powazek.

Citing concern for his family, Maxfield said that he decided "to let it go."
