WASHINGTON -The Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday approved the nomination of Santa Clara County Superior Court Lucy H. Koh to be a judge in the California's Northern District.
Pending Senate confirmation, Koh would assume the San Jose-based seat that opened when U.S. District Judge Ronald M. Whyte took senior status a year ago.
