In a widening investigation of health insurance denials and premium hikes, California Attorney General Jerry Brown said he had subpoenaed financial records from the seven top insurers on Thursday.
Brown's office is looking into the business practices of Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Kaiser Permanente, Health Net, PacifiCare, Aetna Health and CIGNA.
