Panel Upholds Stripping Teacher of Jury Award

LOS ANGELES - A former Los Angeles teacher plans to go to the state Supreme Court to try to restore a $425,000 jury verdict awarded after she was forced off the job for resisting random weapons searches of her students, her lawyer said Friday.
