LOS ANGELES - Private services have taken place for David A. Ruen, a retired civil litigator known around his former office as "Mr. Law." Ruen, who practiced real estate, corporate and probate law, died of a heart attack on Jan. 17 at Kaiser Permanente Anaheim Medical Center. He was 86.
