New Assignments
Los Angeles Superior Court Presiding Judge James Bascue recently issued the following assignment orders: As of Monday, criminal courts Judge Elizabeth Grimes will sit in the downtown county courthouse; on Sept. 10, Judge Joe Hilberman will move from the Metropolitan Courthouse to the West District Santa Monica court, and newly appointed Judge Jacqueline H. Nguyen will start in the downtown criminal courts.
