Akin Gump: BANKRUPTCY LAWYER JOINS FROM SONNENSCHEIN NATH

Dallas' Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld added bankruptcy partner Peter Gurfein to its Los Angeles office on Jan. 1. Gurfein had been the head of that practice, the financial restructuring group in more debtor-friendly parlance, at the local office of Chicago's Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal.
