High Rents Blamed for Another Patent Boutique Demise

SAN FRANCISCO - The millennium closed with the demise of yet another Bay Area intellectual property boutique. Lawyers from D'Alessandro & Ritchie, a decade-old San Jose partnership, officially joined the local office of Thelen Reid & Priest on Monday. Thelen Reid is based in San Francisco and has more than 400 lawyers.
