Insurers Sued Over Failure to Report
SAN FRANCISCO - In what the attorney filing the action claims is a new wrinkle in the continuing saga of Chuck Quackenbush, a private-attorney-general lawsuit filed Tuesday in San Francisco Superior Court alleges several insurance companies violated the California Political Reform Act of 1974, which requires the disclosure of all gifts and contributions made to elected officials.
