Gibson Dunn: WELLPOINT HEALTH WILL GET CERULEAN FOR $700 MILLION

Thousand Oaks' WellPoint Health Networks has agreed to buy Cerulean Companies Inc. of Atlanta for $700 million in cash. WellPoint, which owns Blue Cross of California, provides health insurance to 45.7 million members across the nation.
