San Diego court scales back services in face of budget cuts
Responding to Governor Brown's call for increased efficiency and his reduction of the judicial budget, San Diego County Superior Court is consolidating its traffic courts in Kearny Mesa and moving that division's other services downtown.

In reaction to budget cuts, the San Diego County Superior Court is closing the small claims business office at the Kearny Mesa Courthouse on Dec. 22. At that time, the courthouse will no longer accept small claims filings.
Starting on Jan. 5, small claims and small claims appeals filings will be accepted at the civil business office at the Hall of Justice, located at 330 West Broadway in San Diego. <...
