Irvine-based attorney brings warranty case against Ford

Berger Kahn partner Sherman M. Spitz is suing the Ford Motor Co. for its alleged refusal to honor a warranty agreement. The incident occurred when an F-150 pickup truck caught fire because of a defect that the company had documented.

A new lawsuit filed against Ford Motor Co. claims that the automaker refused to fix a pickup truck that caught fire unless the badly injured driver signed a waiver releasing her personal injury claims.
