Chevron elevates corporate counsel to fill governance role
San Ramon-based Chevron Corp. will replace its retiring corporate secretary and chief governance officer with its current chief corporate counsel, Mary Francis, this spring.

San Ramon-based Chevron Corp. announced Wednesday the replacement for its retiring corporate secretary and chief governance officer. Current Chief Corporate Counsel Mary Francis will succeed 37-year Chevron veteran Lydia Beebe in the role, effective May 1. She will report to Chevron General Counsel R. Hewitt Pate.
