Riverside tries to dismiss suit over solar development charge

Riverside County is trying to knock out a lawsuit filed by two energy industry associations challenging the county's decision to charge solar developers for the use of county land.

Riverside County is trying to knock out a lawsuit filed by two energy industry associations challenging the county's decision to charge solar developers for the use of land in the county.


The county will make its case at a hearing scheduled for today. Meanwhile, attorneys for the two industry groups plan to argue that the case should move forward.
