Judge's PAC plays small role in election wins

JetPAC, a political action committee affiliated with the California Judges Association, raised a modest amount of money for last Tuesday's primary but hopes to become a force in future judicial election campaigns.

Although its leadership admits it played a minor role in Tuesday's primary election, a political action committee for judges hopes the seeds for future success have been planted.


The Judicial Excellence Together Political Action Committee, or "JetPAC," contributed more than $22,000 to 18 judges challenged for re-election, according to records from the California Secretary of State.
