Lawyer to pay $40,000 in restitution for work on mass joinder suits

A lawyer who enticed homeowners into joining large lawsuits against mortgage lenders has agreed to give up his right to practice law for 18 months.

SANTA ANA - A lawyer who enticed homeowners into joining large lawsuits against mortgage lenders has agreed to give up his right to practice law for 18 months and to pay more than $40,000 in restitution.
