Facebook settles suit over publicity rights

Facebook Inc. has agreed to settle a would-be class action filed by plaintiffs who complained that the social networking site violated their right of publicity.

Facebook Inc. has agreed to settle a would-be class action filed by plaintiffs who complained that the social networking site's use of their names in advertisements violated their right of publicity under California law.
