SAN FRANCISCO - In a rare civil price-fixing trial that kicked off Monday with opening statements, attorneys for the plaintiffs and defendant Toshiba Corp. agreed on one thing: There was a scheme to fix the prices of LCD panels.
What they disagree on is the central question for the jury in the case - whether Toshiba can be held liable for the scheme.
