An advocacy group representing law enforcement and victims' rights positions wants to remove an initiative seeking to abolish the death penalty in California from the November ballot.
The Criminal Justice Legal Foundation filed a lawsuit in the state's 3rd District Court of Appeal, alleging that the SAFE California Act, the death penalty initiative, violates California?s single-subject law.
