Bar committee says judicial challengers are not worthy

An incumbent judge, a punk rock musician and an 80-year-old Vietnam War veteran were among the six candidates rated "unqualified" to serve as judges, according to a report by the LA County Bar.

LOS ANGELES - An incumbent judge, a punk rock musician and a Vietnam War veteran were among the six judicial candidates rated as "not qualified" for the bench by the Los Angeles County Bar Association.


LACBA's Judicial Elections Evaluation Committee issued its final report Thursday as to whom its members believe is the best qualified to serve as a judge on the county's trial court. ...
