Fighting Over Pollution Credits

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has until Sunday to sign bills aimed at resolving a fight between Southern California air regulators and environmentalist. Angela Johnson Meszaros wants to stop the expansion of pollution credits.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has until Sunday to sign or veto two bills aimed at resolving a legal fight between Southern California air regulators and environmental groups. But legislative maneuvers may only escalate the dispute over the amount of pollution businesses in the region can generate.
