Venture Law Founder Is Seen As a Visionary

SAN JOSE - Craig W. Johnson, the Venture Law Group founder who always was thinking of the next idea, died Saturday after suffering a stroke several days earlier. He was 62.

Johnson was hailed as a Silicon Valley visionary who left Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in 1993 after 19 years to focus on corporate legal work for the start-up companies that were his passion.
