FRESNO - Federal officials have settled a legal battle with environmental groups by agreeing to stop commercial development in Yosemite National Park until at least December 2012, said The Associated Press.
The National Park Service reached the settlement with two groups that sued in 2000.
The park had a $442 million project to relocate campgrounds and upgrade hotel rooms in Yosemite Valley.
