Job Losses In Legal Sector Jump Again

The number of job losses in the legal sector jumped sharply in September to 2,000, after slowing to almost a trickle the month before.

The number of job losses in the legal sector jumped sharply in September to 2,000, after slowing to almost a trickle the month before, according to the latest jobs report issued Friday by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Preliminary figures show September job losses were slightly below the monthly 2,090 average since the recession began in December 2007.
