ACLU Sues O.C. Over Gang Injunction

The ACLU has filed a federal class action accusing the Orange County district attorney's office of enforcing an injunction against an alleged street gang after deliberately preventing suspected members from challenging it in court.

SANTA ANA - The ACLU has filed a federal class action accusing the Orange County district attorney's office of enforcing an injunction against an alleged street gang after deliberately preventing suspected members from challenging it in court.

Prosecutors have "short-circuited the judicial process," the lawsuit claims, on behalf of people targeted by the gang injunction.
