Firm Founder Shaped Sacramento Legal Landscape

Bruce F. Allen 1921-2009

SACRAMENTO - Bruce F. Allen, an attorney whose influence helped shape the legal world in Sacramento for decades, died Sept. 12. He was 88.

Allen was the founding partner of McDonough Holland & Allen, one of the city's oldest and most successful law firms.

Those who knew and worked with Allen say the firm carries his personality and character to this day.
