'Fight On'? Maybe Not

      "Fight On!" is the motto and song that have inspired generations of University of Southern California students and athletes. For a group of students that tried to live up to that, though, by demonstrating last month in support of stricter standards against university purchases of sweatshop-produced goods, the school's response was more like a reminder that the nail that stands up gets beaten down.
