An attorney who got stiffed by an ungrateful client won $1.3 million through an appellate court ruling Thursday.
The legal saga involving attorney Clark Fergus began 25 years ago, when an owner of the Pismo Beach Hotel hurled a piece of concrete at Joseph A. Songer and Songer sued for damages.
