Bush Elevates More Assistant U.S. Attorneys
WASHINGTON - For Sheldon Sperling, an assistant U.S. attorney for 16 years in Muskogee, Okla., the decision to accept President Bush's nomination to be U.S. attorney for the state's Eastern District was cemented during a recent twilight tour of the nation's capital led by Attorney General John D. Ashcroft.
