LOS ANGELES - Peter J. Mirich has more to consider than the average Southern California commuter when deciding how he'll get to work. As the sole judge in the 36-seat Catalina Courthouse, each Friday he has to choose how he'll travel to the Avalon courthouse - by sea or by air.
