Judge's Creativity Speeds Cases

LOS ANGELES - Judge Victoria G. Chaney is not exactly your run-of-the-mill judge, and she likes it that way. Take for example the time she agreed to let a pro per plaintiff, who she thought had difficulty with verbal communication, stage a skit of Irish jigs and Gaelic chants in her courtroom, in an attempt to win a new trial in his legal malpractice suit.
