Judge Retired After Acquittal in Stabbing

LOS ANGELES - Former Superior Court Judge Lloyd S. Davis, who retired from the bench after stabbing his wife in what he described as a psychotic episode, has died.

        Davis died Dec. 22 of natural causes at his South Pasadena home. He was 86.
