Judge Allows Defense Attorney to Sue Cooley

LOS ANGELES - District Attorney Steve L. Cooley can be sued for malicious prosecution by a defense lawyer who claims he was falsely charged with encouraging a witness in a homicide case to lie under oath, a federal judge has ruled.
