Honeywell Opts For Pact in Suit By Rival Litton

LOS ANGELES - Giving up a decadelong courtroom war that drew one jury verdict of $1 billion-plus and another for hundreds of millions, Honeywell International Inc. has agreed to drop its appeals and settle antitrust and patent infringement claims against the company for $440 million.
