National squads dominate Landau Lawyers League All-Star games
The Landau Lawyers League played their annual All-Star softball games July 27 with both the co-ed division and "A/B" division National League All-Star Teams emerging victorious. The A/B game turned into a rout with the National League running away with a 17-7 victory. Richmond McMurray of Latham & Watkins LLP took home MVP honors for his squad. In the co-ed match up, offense abounded in a game that went down to the wire. The National League All-Stars ultimately won, scraping by with a 19-15 win over the American League. Jonathan Dennis of Murchison & Cummings LLP took home the MVP award for the National League. Each player selected for the All-Star game got a t-shirt and players on the winning teams were awarded a certificate. — Henry Meier
