Surge in disability suits causing headache for tort lawyer lobby

While the suits may sound like a loser for the business community, the actions of a few attorneys across the state also concern the tort community.

SACRAMENTO - Julie Griffiths spends a lot of time on the road - especially lately. A representative for an anti-tort business group, Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse, Griffiths is out tracking numerous disability lawsuits being filed in counties across the state.
