Barristers Club honors appellate justice
The Barristers Club of the Bar Association of San Francisco presented its Tara L. Riedley Barristers Choice Award to retired 1st District Court of Appeal Justice James Lambden at its 30th Annual Judges Reception on July 23. Lambden, left, is pictured with Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein LLP partner Heather H. Wong, chair of the Judges Reception Committee. The award is given to one San Francisco-based judge each year to recognize efforts to educate and encourage young lawyers. More than 250 members of the legal community attended the event, which was held at the Administrative Office of the Courts.
