State Bar Board of Trustees names three new officers

The State Bar Board of Trustees named Craig Holden, center, to become president of the bar for 2014-15. Holden, 44, is a partner with Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP's Los Angeles office and co-chair of the firm's commercial litigation practice. Currently the bar vice president, he was unopposed in the presidential election. He will be the 90th president in the bar's history."I am humbled by the support of my colleagues on the board and I look forward to continuing to promote the mission of public protection as well as advocating for diversity and increased court funding," Holden said in a statement. Heather Linn Rosing, left, will become bar vice president. Rosing, 42, is the current bar treasurer and oversees Klinedinst PC's San Diego office. Michael Colantuono, right, will replace Rosing as bar treasurer. The 42-year-old partner with Colantuono & Levin PC of Penn Valley defeated Public Counsel executive director Hernan Vera for the post in a vote Friday by board members.
