Hospital administrator hit with another lawsuit over alleged spinal implant counterfeiting

The civil suit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on behalf of plaintiff Mary Cavalieri - a former spinal surgery patient - follows a barrage of cases against Michael Drobot and his alleged co-conspirators.

A disgraced hospital owner and administrator and his network of doctors and clinics, which already face litigation, got hit with another lawsuit Thursday alleging a vast conspiracy to counterfeit spinal implants and inflate the price of the medical hardware at the cost of patient well-being.
