San Diego criminal defense lawyer pleads guilty to laundering drug money
Longtime attorney James Joseph Warner, 65, pleaded guilty to federal charges of conspiracy to launder $100,000 from a client's marijuana dispensaries and to pressuring the client to pay the fees of another client.

James J. Warner, a well-known criminal defense attorney in San Diego, pleaded guilty Tuesday to conspiracy to launder drug money and attempted witness tampering.
