The city of Vallejo is finally set to emerge from its three-year ordeal in bankruptcy court.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Michael S. McManus of the Eastern District of California granted preliminary approval last week to the city's Chapter 9 reorganization plan, paving the way for Vallejo to exit bankruptcy this month.
