O'Melveny names new firm leader

Bradley J. Butwin, the New York-based head of litigation at O'Melveny & Myers LLP, was named Wednesday to lead the firm.

Bradley J. Butwin, the New York-based head of litigation at O'Melveny & Myers LLP, was named Wednesday to lead the firm.


Butwin's appointment was widely seen by current and former partners, and by industry watchers, as an attempt to chart a new course for the firm that has been rocked by partner disputes and defections.
