Latham partner jumps to firm known for plaintiffs' work

Los Angeles-based Latham & Watkins LLP litigation partner Ethan J. Brown is making a rare move among big law defense lawyers - jumping to a small firm known for its plaintiffs' work.

Los Angeles-based Latham & Watkins LLP litigation partner Ethan J. Brown is making a rare move among big law defense lawyers - jumping to a small firm known for its plaintiffs' work. Brown said Friday he'll be joining litigation boutique Spillane Weingarten LLP on Aug. 1 to focus on both plaintiff- and defense-side litigation for securities, mergers and acquisitions and other commercial matters.
